David spent more than 20 years with Rover Group, holding senior management roles in the United Kingdom, Canada and mainland Europe. From 1985 until 1991, David was Parts Director for Rover Cars and directed the largest subcontracted parts operation in the world. He was also Sales and Marketing Director of Land Rover Parts and a non-executive Director of British Motor Heritage. In 1992 he became a consultant to the industry, specialising in aftersales and he is currently a director of Aftermarket Solutions.
David worked with Ron Sewell for more than 17 years and, in a minor role, helped him set up the Automotive Fellowship in 1994. David now manages the Fellowship day to day.
