Trevor founded what is now ASE in 1975. He is renowned as one of the leading experts in the industry and picked up the accolade of Outstanding Achievement Award at the Motor Trader Awards.Trevor is regarded as one of the most authoritative voices in the car retailing sector.

Ron Sewell
Ron's outstanding contribution to the UK Motor Industry was marked by a "Lifetime Achievement Award" from the Institute of the Motor Industry and by being the first recipient of AM's Hall of Fame.
Ron started the Fellowship because he felt that there was a need for manufacturers, dealers and other organizations involved in the industry to work together. The success of the Fellowship over the past sixteen years demonstrates its value to its Members.
DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Alexander van de Ven
Alexander is Managing Director of AUTOMANAGER, a specialist remarketing firm based in Antwerp and Berlin, and has had twenty years experience in the automotive distribution and retail sectors. Alexander helps organize the annual automotive sector seminars at the IESE Business school (University of Navarra) in Barcelona. He is Development Director of the AFI.

David Lansdowne FIMI
David spent more than 20 years with Rover Group, holding senior management roles in the United Kingdom, Canada and mainland Europe. From 1985 until 1991 , David was Parts Director for Rover Cars and directed the largest subcontracted parts operation in the world. He was also Sales and Marketing Director of Land Rover Parts and a non-executive Director of British Motor Heritage. In 1992 he became a consultant to the industry, specialising in aftersales and he is currently a director of Aftermarket Solutions.
David has worked with Ron Sewell for more than 17 years and, in a minor role, helped him set up the Automotive Fellowship in 1994. David now manages the Fellowship day to day.
Each programme is carefully organised to provide insights into issues facing the industry - short, medium and long term. Even during these difficult economic times we have lost very few Members and continue to attract new ones. David is proud to support Trevor, Ron, the President's Committee and the membership.
