Despite his tremendous workload John has been an inspirational leader who rarely misses an AFI meeting and has a fantastic wit to enliven meetings with laughter. From his personal point of view, he finds that at almost every meeting he identifies a business opportunity which he can implement virtually immediately, an interesting idea he can work on for the future and meet people that he would never otherwise have met who, over time, often become friends.

Sue Brownson OBE, Managing Director of Blue Bell BMW, a former President of the RMI, and who is actively involved in a number of industry organizations
Sue has said she feels privileged to have been a member of AFI for many years, and adds that Ron's delivery of interesting, exciting and diverse speakers has made AFI's three meetings a year a must for anyone operating at a high level in the automotive industry. She says that this is probably the best networking experience in an informal way that you could have anywhere in the world.

R Graham Smith OBE, Managing Director of Toyota Motors Europe's London Office
Formerly, as Toyota's Chief Executive, Graham developed the Toyota Dealer network into a highly successful operation. He was later appointed Senior Vice President of External and Environmental Affairs of Toyota Motors Europe, and has now returned to their London office as Managing Director.

Joe Greenwell CBE, Chairman, Ford of Britain
Joe has spent his entire career in the motor industry starting as a Graduate Trainee with Austin Morris in 1973. He was appointed Chairman of Ford of Britain in January 2009. He is a former Chairman and CEO of Jaguar Land Rover and prior to that held senior roles in Ford of Europe, Ford N.America and Ford Global Marketing and Public Affairs
