Given the seniority of Members it is important that they know the dates of meetings well in advance.

Detailed Programme
Approximately two months before each meeting, our Executive Director, David Lansdowne circulates a summary of the topics to be addressed, together with a brief introduction to each of the speakers.
One week before the meeting a more detailed programme will be circulated with an analysis of each issue to be addressed, and a synopsis of each speaker's area of expertise.
Dinner
The meetings commence at 5.30 pm on the first day with drinks to enable Members to meet up with each other. Dinner, chaired by Christopher Macgowan, commences at 6.45pm. Each table of seven or eight is chaired by a member of the President's team and there is at least one Guest Speaker on each table. This enables Speakers to get a better idea of the event and also enables Members to discuss the Speakers' areas of expertise with him or her.
The evening concludes with another period for Members to talk to each other and to get to know the Speakers. Some remain seated at their tables; others adjourn to the Bar!
